Subject: RE: Indiana needs a good shot of rain

Malta, Illinois
Looks like a little rain coming your way this morning but nothing very heavy for sure. We had a nice shower overnight and this morning but have not looked to see how much we got. The big thing has been the mild temperatures for the last ten days or so. The extended forecast has it warming up the last week of August but that is pretty typical. Sounds like we have another week of upper 70's or low 80's which is perfect for pod fill on beans and grain fill on corn. Disease and possibly some dryness towards the finish line are the wild cards now.
