| The price of corn and soy don't "drift to cost of production" because it is "easy" to produce. It happens because the corn and soybean market is perfectly competitive. I think you (W1891) know that. It's like the most important thing that is taught in Ag Econ 101. Many people on internet forums, or coffee shop complainers don't know it or forget it, I'm never sure which.
