Boone Co. Iowa | What are your corn and bean markets?
Locally we lost a decent bean end user (Glidden, Iowa).
How does crop look where you are? C and B? I think locally, beans, loss of a processor, and staggering carryout, might make sense to me to make a little $ by hauling a long ways - but, then I am hauling a long ways. Fuel, flat tires, wear and tear, and my time.....trucking 100+ miles a load, empty return.....typing it makes me think that is a bad idea.
Storing is going to pay, if you price it before you put it in or have a plan.....
When are bills due? Interest on beans makes storing them expensive.....
