May not be as economical as you would like, but we have done prime rib sandwiches at times and always go over well. If you buy a prime rib and have it sliced to about 3/8 - 1/2 inch slices they make a great sandwich and can easily be grilled. If I was invited, I would even offer to share the cost of the main meat dish. Something to give some thought to.
That sounds like it would be good. Being that thin wouldn't take long to grill. I'll have to check into the cost
