Come have a look if you don't think acres are coming out of the corn belt. They're looking for the flattest most highly tillable acres they can find. Less waste

You people always say the same thing "see, it's happening"

but you never say

"Here is why this is a bad thing"




Here is why solar panels are a bad thing.

200MW plant with 25% capacity factor consumes 2,000 acres.
1,000 MW nuclear reactor with 98% capacity factor consumes about a square mile.
Reactor works for 80 years? Panels 20 to 30 unless it hails.

5x output on a quarter of the footprint. 4x the uptime. Triple the service life.

And worst of all, the taxpayer is on the hook for a sizable portion of this initiative.
