May not be as economical as you would like, but we have done prime rib sandwiches at times and always go over well. If you buy a prime rib and have it sliced to about 3/8 - 1/2 inch slices they make a great sandwich and can easily be grilled. If I was invited, I would even offer to share the cost of the main meat dish. Something to give some thought to.
