I didn’t say it was all going for that range, those are rent auctions prices and prices I’ve heard ground being picked up for during higher prices. That’s just the way it works around here. For instance a piece of ground sold near me 3 years ago that was on a multi year lease, it had another year on the lease for the new owner and it was listed at 350/360 and that would’ve been set when prices weren’t all that great, I can about imagine what it got negotiated at during high prices. Ground around here has been bought up by investors for 12-16k depending on the range you want to look at, that doesn’t equate to cheap rent. If you want to see the auction prices you’ll have to Google it, I don’t remember which all auctioneers handled them or if they’d still be posted or not. Chad is about 40 miles from me if i remember correctly, not sure how much he knows about rents in my area. He may know about the rent auction by Toronto or white that was for this crop season, I think I heard that one went for $400 or so. Id imagine rents being negotiated this fall will be lower considering how much the market has tanked.

Edit- I don’t see an email listed in your profile. I can’t remember, have we emailed before?
