The average yearly price of corn in 1966 ( before the inflation of the 1970 was $1.42 a bushel in 1986 it was $1.60. Right now the market is determined to stop the expansion of crop acres, the people who have inflated cost of production are in the crosshairs.
Historically these times are for cutting COP not expecting the market to rise to your inflated living standards.
Cherry picked the highest of the 60’s and lowest of the 80’s, and year closing price rather than average. A fine display of both abject and intellectual dishonesty.
Averages tell a very different story, but that’s not the story you want told.
