In July, government collected 330 billion in tax receipts, spent 574 billion. This is just for month of July. The budget deficit rose 10% in July. ( the amount between receipts and outlays) Approx 8 billion a day! There comes a point that it ceases to work, doesn’t it? So does this mean inflation and printing of money or ? Do any of the politicians of either party fully understand this? Farm bailouts May be over?
Edit This was posted on VanTrump daily newsletter this morning, I believe he said info from Congressional Budget Office.
Government could have bought the entire 24 corn crop for 60 billion. Basically a rounding error for July spending |
