Subject: RE: Minnesota corn crop

Nw Iowa
The beans look good right up to edge of holes for most part, corn , pretty big ring around drown outs that will not yield much. We are at about 8% of our corn drowned out, but guessing another 4% will be half. Last 2 years , we had a record crop, crop went in fast, never had a bad day. We were too wet this year, now too dry. Early frost could be a big issue for us. So maybe 90% of last years yield on the 90% of the acres which puts us close to 80% of last years total bushels. This would be Martin county in Mn and Emmet county in Iowa.
