EC SoDak | Some of them had slaves…. When did women get to vote? Black men count as a full vote? The list goes on, it was not as perfect as folks try to make it seem.
If one is to put so much weight into the founding fathers, then we wouldn’t have amendments if they were perfect. This why they understood societies change and we allow things to meld a bit. Is there a line we have to draw? For sure. But people sure aren’t voting for going back 250 years either…. | |
