Ok. I guess my question would be, why would a fund care in the short term about inflation with traded commodity that is bearish, especially when in our longterm trade range we have a floor of roughly 3.18? I’d guess they’re paying attention to market sediment, shorts on the market, longs, and physical that needs to be dealt with for what they want to do.
Edit- with inflation and in their realm of inflation, they probably just have more money to play with than anything…
Inflation may well be a contributing factor to holding corn close to $4 (so far) in a very bearish scenario. Emphasis on the word “may”.
$4 could be the new $3.
