The market also couldn’t give a crap less in the shorter term on what our average cost of production is because old crop has to be sold and new crop will be. As we move down the road, production and cost will come more into play because the purse strings start getting controlled more by the controllers and the shorts won’t have the longs to bail them out. Make no mistake, if the funds wanted to push being more short, they’ll have the longs to bail them out likely through next year’s crop. There is a reason 2014 went as low as it did, even with the same farmers saying “we are below COP” roars we had back then. | |
