Minnesota | This point right here has been my logic since we turned so wet. In MN the "powerhouse" counties are in the southern tier of the state and the majority of them were pummeled by the rains. Not only from a yield standpoint but from an acre standpoint is why this is hard to overcome for the state average. I believe this to be true for Iowa to an extent as well...the northern tier of Iowa is typically high in yield and acres...that's hard to offset whether it's good or bad. | |
