| I keep reading on here that fringe acres are gonna disappear? Where are they gonna go? I am in north central ND, wheat is a total financial train wreck, huge yields coming with bad board prices and even worse discounts=big money still lost in the end. Last year guys left sunflowers in the field because elevators didn’t even have a bid posted for 6 months. Malt barley market is flooded. Dry beans only fit on certain acres and you can only grow so many. That basically leaves corn and soys. Guys are currently and will continue to grow as much corn as they can possibly handle and I would say we definitely qualify as fringe. | |
