Michigan
In central Michigan cash corn is nearing $3.00. That is $2.23 ish inflation adjusted to 2012. We are already in a disaster situation. Should be nearing a price where supply and demand takes over. Old guys told me I couldnt do this and that because I hadn’t been through the hard times. But since 2003 I’ve sold $1.65 corn all the way up to $8 these things come and go faster that you would think and if you can’t weather the wait you aren’t going to make it farming any way. Seems most experts on here don’t even farm and a lot of the rest just like to regurgitate the guru’s talk to make themselves look smart. Nothing is really that new and it all will cycle back.
