| I would not be shocked to see yield left alone and acres reduced by more than anticipated. Your second prediction is also very likely that farmers will sell it hard, when that is the worst thing they should do. Just like dumping all this corn on the market in the past few weeks. Just giving the funds the easiest short cover possible. I was pretty vocal about this being the outcome weeks ago but was met with resistance of forming farmers unions, weld the doors shut, etc. one poster was really adamant that the old crop isn’t out there and ethanol was grinding so much. But here we are with terminals, coops, and ethanol plants shutting down early because they are getting full. | |
