I don't quote scriptures EVER but I like the parable about the master giving talents to 3 different servants -
2 took risks -- third didn't do anything "Matthew 25:14–30"
I like Toby Keith's song "don't let the old man in"
IMO just sitting with your money on the sidelines is letting the old man in

That’s what the 45 years leading up to retirement is for. Retirement is to be enjoyed, not endured. But to each, his own. My wife and I just got back from 2 weeks in Alaska. Already planning on going back again, next time will be a month, during summer sometime. Can’t do these sort of things if our cash is tied up in active investments that require our constant oversight. No thank you.
