Cherokee iowa | Our late planted beans needs rain sun and heat. Potential is present but need perfect weather which we missed a record low the other night in the middle of august when the crop is already behind. Grew a lot of vine on the late planted so far need to grow pods now and fill them hard to do with low energy aka sunlight. Seeing more gull midge around then would like. Had to worry white mold sds and ext in the past now as all things farming we got this nasty Red Devil eating our fuel our food and our independence. Farming isn’t for the faint of heart but the tip of the economy’s spear! I know that farmers can deal with ole Mother Nature what ever she throws at them the man made problems are easy to fix and the farmers will adjust. So far no remedy for these Red Devils so I turn to thee who created them. Godspeed in the battles to maintain and grow life.
