Have you ever tested a sample of corn at higher moisture for kernel weight, and do the same for lower moisture corn in the same field and same hybrid, and after adjusting for moisture compare the two. In my line of thinking if the kernel weights are similar and there is still a yield reduction, then something else is causing the loss.
