Martinton,il | I was 36 years when I had cardiac arrest and no one can tell me why. Doctors thought I used cocaine so they tested my blood every 4 hours for 4 days, found nothing and finally transferred me to Loyola in Chicago. I will turn 68 in a few days. The local fire department and EMT’s saved my life as they got me to the hospital so fast and I was all plugged in to monitors when I had my cardiac arrest. No one can tell me yet why this has happened but the devices have went off about 40 times combined. The last one lasted 13 years and my first one lasted 3 years. Some things really do get better.
