Alton, Ia | Hog barn. Corrosion. Between the normal daily high humidity, manure gases, ~ 3 x per year washdowns and sanitizing, unless it's made of stainless, plastic or concrete, it corrodes quickly. Maybe it would last awhile, but I would be very surprised if the screws holding the lid on would be able to be turned in just a few months, and I am doing this to put some fuses into a circuit, so need reliable access. | |
