They spear fine. Cornstalks can be difficult but we get it done. Six foot alfalfa baleage at 35% often weigh 2500. The goal is 1900lbs DM per bale, which is attainable in fifth cutting but not always in earlier cuts. Today we sent a load of 44% moisture that had 1847 lbs dry hay per bale.
