Northeast Iowa | I’ve used a loop for years and never changed a fuse or lost an energizer. Plenty of other stuff has been cooked by lightning or power surges, though.
Seems like the preferred method was 7 loops in the power cord. Zip tie it together. Much easier to do with a longer cord than what used to come with the old fencers from the 70’s. You could take a fencer like that to an old electronics guy who would turbo charge them for you for just a few dollars. Those guys are gone now, but they probably both had their caskets rigged to give the pallbearers a tingling sensation when they picked it up just to keep them wondering. | |
