Yes I can. Cereals just aren't the type of feed I'm after. Just looking for a sort of replacement to alfalfa silage while my new seeding will be getting established


You would be quite pleasantly surprised if you seeded oats on the heavy side and had the rain and not too much heat = =
then cutting them at flag leaf stage - - - NO heads. That might just give your alfalfa a run for its money.
