We like our 32' trailers, 8 -4' bales or 6- 5' bales easier to get around than the 42' trailers and a little harder to push the last couple of bales on. String wrapped bales would be fine but I know with a new trailer the first 2 bales the rails will burn the net wrap thin from sliding them on untill the new paint gets worn off but never affected the string bales
