There is some evidence of iron-infused water leaking into the milk plates through the gaskets, but that appears to only be on the end plates.
That's not supposed to be possible, is it? the plate would have to leak to contaminate the milk side, the gasket should have air between the milk gasket and water gasket, right? so you can see an external leak, and there won't be internal gasket leaks.
