Western, New York | They can be rebuilt successfully we do them every year (Different application but same type of heat exchanger). The plates really need to be cleaned well to seal, also make sure the studs are tightened evenly, we usually measure the distance between the outer plates at the four corners. Also keep in mind many of them have different combinations of plates so make sure you keep track when you take them apart. Those plates do not look bad at all I have seen way worse. They might seal up with the old gaskets. 2 bar really isnt much I would clean and reinstall and see what happens. In my experience there isnt much out there for aftermarket gaskets. I have always had to go back to the OEM and buy them. | |
