NW Iowa | Are there any crops that could still make a decent hay crop planted this week in NW Iowa? Going onto a part of field that is river bottom and has had water standing on it since early May. Doing some research it looks like Italian Ryegrass might be a good option but just checking to see what ag talkers might have tried in similar conditions. We have plenty of grass and then cornstalks to graze to finish out the year so really just looking for something to make hay. Thank you. | |
