Madison Co. Virginia | Paid $150, and that was possibly too much. I can't find any gaskets anywhere online, so I suspect I'll be bent over the barrel when I call a Delaval dealer about such.
I saw a misplaced gasket right inside one of the milkline openings, which is why I went ahead and opened up each end of the pack. There is some evidence of iron-infused water leaking into the milk plates through the gaskets, but that appears to only be on the end plates. After going about two or three plates in on each end, everything looked spotless, so I quit messing with it.
The gaskets appear to be intact, and come off without damage. What's the chance that these gaskets would seal up again if reused?
Does anyone know of an aftermarket or cheaper source of gaskets other than a Delaval dealer? Is this even a common model?
