| Beans were pretty ugly with pigweeds., When they did the burn down it didn't kill the pigweed. It is pretty hard to kill pigweed that is both chemical hardened and drought hardened.
The crew also showed up and left. When they came back the beans had closed rows and the weeds were a lot bigger. It takes a while when one has to cut the weed and move it out of the way.
FYI, the area I walked took about 2 and a half hours to do an acre.
I figured I had 3 choices.
1. leave them and have a huge problem the next few years, plus no raise much of a crop.
2 Turn the field black and keep it that way.
3 Hire these guys and hope I raise enough beans to cover my costs. The cost was about double what I anticipated.,
They were supposed to run 13 ( I think) man crews.
