Subject: RE: Stringy chicken

North west MN
My wife just brought home cooked roasted chicken from m+h in Moorhead Minnesota and man was it good. The breast's were smaller and had the bones. I need to find out where they get their chicken much better than the grocery store sells. I read that there is a defect in 30% of the chicken breast's grown in big barns doesn't hurt you but sure is no good to eat. Looks like lots of meat but so stringy tough it's hard to cut cross the grain with a steak knife. Cuts easy with the grain.
