I’m not sure the ratio really matters to drone size to sprayer size. Drone count more important. We have 40 meter or 132’ and 9000 liter or 2400 gallon sprayers.

3 drones wouldn’t be a productive as one sprayer but the window might be wider. Spray when ground conditions don’t allow.

Is the drone a replacement or a supplement? Either or both depending how much you want to spend.

The custom applicator I hired came with 2 guys. A pickup and an enclosed trailer. Clean water tank in trailer and a larger mixing cone he made batches in and pumped into the drone from. Generator in pickup box charging batteries in the trailer. I supplied chemical.

1 guy filling and 1 guy piloting/monitoring the drone.

As for field placement he position himself and trailer where he could for the shortest flights back to refill. Use different field access/field approaches to park the pickup and trailer.
