western iowa | I had the coop spray fungicide on corn with a drone last year. Comes down to the operator and terrain on how well they do. It was the same cost per acre for a drone or helicopter. I saw him running it in the last field. Thought he was flying way to high! 40’?? Talked with the coop manager about it. This year I used a helicopter. Coop wasn’t pushing using a drone. I have not seen drones flying this year compared to last. At the same fee as a helicopter I think they are a joke. IMO | |
