What size genset? I built mine with a wall that can be removed if it needs to be replaced. Needs to be big enough to walk around for service. I also made it big enough for a fuel tank. I insulated it and the engine block heater keeps the whole building warm so the fuel never gels. I have a powered shutter on one side that opens to let air in when the engine runs. The eve on that side is extended to try to keep freezing rain from freezing up that shutter. Another shutter is connected to the radiator and the engine fan blows the air out through it.
I put it together in 1999 and it is working well. I learned not to fill the 275 gallon fuel tank or the fuel will get stale. I probably use more like 50 gallons per year.
