What would the minimum hp requirement be?


105 horsepower MFWD would be my absolute minimum, and you'd wish for a bit more power/weight whenever it was full.

I want the option of matching it to the 120" width of my pull type sprayer.


If you mean that you want the tractor to be set to 120" then I think that kind of forces you into a large frame 7000, 8000, or magnum sized tractor. Those tractors can handle being set that wide from the factory (even if the factory doesn't recommend it). The smaller tractors like a JD 7230 - I don't think the front end will hold being set that wide. I guess you could order axle tube kits from a 3m tramline kit manufacturer in Australia or something?


90" spacing on the tractor/sprayer is the compromise. Wide enough to be stable, narrow enough for every tractor to reach (or 88" is anyway), goes down 30" and 15" rows.
