North Central Indiana | We fill our tanks on the tender from horizontal tanks at the farm with a transfer pump. We tied into the start switch on the pump to switch the ground when the tank fills so we don’t have to shut the pump off and can load other things while filling. We’ve tried many different float switches and have had virtually no success with them working as hoped. Ended up putting a wired on off switch on a long lead so we can be at the tank and turn it off from there. Time the filling a couple times and wear a watch and you can still get some stuff done before needing to be there to shut it off. Next season the experimenting with floats will continue | |
