Are you sure about abandoning the CV-joint? Going to a single cardan joint might wreak some serious havoc on the driveline.

I am not 100% sure but i been cussing cv joints long enough to try it. I have a few orchard sprayers that have a much shorter driveshaft with regular 55 series u joints and i have no issues with those. If it chatters turn less.
