I have a new to me mini excavator. I have a project about a 1/4 of a mile down the road. It is a 2 speed machine. So probably quicker to drive it on the grassy road shoulder than to hookup the trailer and load/unload. Is there a reason not to? Can longer drives shorten undercarriage life a lot? Never owned anything with tracks until now
