Had this issue on our CIH 2162 ( FD 70) getting ready to cut wheat back in June. Tried pouring g oil on the affected sections & it sizzles. Called our Macdon tech, he said it wasn't uncommon - cutter bar was bent down in that area. You could see where they angled down compared to the others. Tech said most likely from hitting a rock and called it a "sledge hammer fix". Son took those guards off & adjusted the cutter bar with a sledge hammer. Cured the problem.

On ours the affected area was right at the hinge to the left of the center belt




I’ll defenetely have to take a look at that. If it comes down to it maybe I’ll have to try the sledge hammer.
