I'm not sure what your definition of "unattended" means but Transport Canada and the FAA are far from letting drones run unattended. They have to be in your line of sight at all times even during autonomous flight. Sure automatic refills would be great.
I doubt that rule applies to commercial drone operations.. I know for a fact that such things as pipeline inspections happen very far from line of sight. |
