If Trimble doesn't start doing some innovating with their current product lines I agree with you. I see today that they are sunsetting the NavIII and dropping the price on the TMX display, just like they did for the FmX right before they end of life'd it. Once the 2050 is gone, so are their water management and implement guidance options. The current crop of displays have not even lived up the the capabilities of the FmX, much less kept pace with the industry in my opinion.
Sounds like they are ready for the GFX-1260 to take over for the TMX-2050...the TMX was a crossover cluster to keep the FMX functionality while they got everything moved to the Precision-IQ product.
With the Nav-900 the NAVIII is no longer needed, as all the inertial equipment is in the NAV-900, and if you do need the valve interface capability of the NAVIII for a legacy Autopilot platform, the VDM-912 is a cheaper way of doing it.
I absolutely hate an FMX, but going through the new GFX stuff, I have been pleasantly surprised on it's ease of use when the best thing I have seen before was an Ag Leader InComman 1200...they are at least on par with each other for ease of operation and overall display function from my experience so far.
