Has a direct lightning strike to engine powered equipment ever been known to cause internal crank and bearing damage?
I've only seen controller and wiring damage so thought I would ask. Oh, and a photo of the pickup where lightning entered a front fender.
(Something I never heard of or seen video footage of until this year is ground lightning? ) The bolt appears to rise first from the ground and travels upward?
