Subject: RE: With all the talk on prostate cancer...

Central Minnesota
I see several doctors at Mayo for the cancer that I have. One of the first questions I had was, is it genetic? I feared it could be passed on. He said that mine was not genetic. It is a mutation though. I’ve had several bone marrow biopsies to clarify it and it is a mutation of one of my chromosomes. I was told by several doctors at Mayo that all they can do is manage it with chemo, it will never be cured. If it goes to the next stage the end will come quickly. If I am reading your reply correctly, he is saying that cancer is not from a mutation?
