I heard from a somewhat credible source that agco actually pulled zieglers contract to sell new equipment about 2 months ago in WI Also heard some other smaller dealer over there got the application equipment contract already
I just got off the phone with a former long time employee of Ziegler that I would say is "in the know yet".
What he said sounds similar to what you described. Zieglers customers will be serviced by existing Agco dealers across the state, the only one up in the air was Swiderski. As far as service on yellow application equipment the "new" dealers will have to take this over. Apparently, Vanderloop has had an application equipment contract in place for a couple of months already, so Agco knew this was coming.
When I was in Swiderski a few months ago getting parts a salesman said they were going to bring on MF sprayers, so maybe there is more happening there too than what we know. |
