Where AGCO really screwed up in the North American market was getting rid of Allis Chalmers & not pushing Gleaner hard enough. In my little area, AC & Gleaners were #2 next to Deere equipment. Fast forward to today and poof, gone! All those customers drive green.

Allis Chalmers went broke in 1985, and AGCO started from Deutz-Allis in 1990...they didn't then, and still do not now have access to the Allis Chalmers trademark and name. The toy companies do have permission to use it, but AGCO does not.

So, I understand your sentiment, but times change, and Allis Chalmers should have as well.
