Subject: RE: Ziegler Closing Our Missouri Stores

Jeffersonville, OH
Claas740 - 7/29/2024 22:26

Have a Challenger 765D bought new from Ziegler. Bought a new White planter from Ziegler two years ago. Bought a new Challenger 665C which was a money pit. Just got rid of that this spring for a new CaseIH. Since 2010 I’m on my 7th salesman. They have lost a lot of market share in NE Iowa. Their trade numbers aren’t even close to the competition. Seems like they have a lot of management that I’m not sure what they do. They have been promising a new store in Postville and never happens. For the last year they have been pushing Fendt combine on me. I have a Claas and like it I don’t want Fendt. There have been 6 Claas combines traded for different colors in my area. Wasn’t because guys didn’t like the combine, came down to the dealer. Ziegler was a Claas chopper, hay equipment and Claas tractor dealer for two years in NE Iowa and Wisconsin. They didn’t sell one piece in two years. I could go on all night but I will stop there.

Sounds like Ziegler problems more than AGCO

But what do I know?
Chris
