Westside | Mine was 4.4 in 2019,got a biopsy 3/4 on one side 3/4 on the other[gleason 7}, did RGGC alternative therapy in Aug 2019. Included different IVs and sending my blood to Greece.
Took the circulating cancer cells, and joining them with another gene in my body, grow those genes , then putting them back in my body.
The idea is my body won't recognize those genes and kill them. Kind of a crap shoot to see if they got the right genes.
Also add dendritic cells to help fight cancer.
Thought I was doing good,
Dec2023 after getting Covid at Thanksgiving and E-coli after Christmas psa was 10.
Decided maybe should try conventional treatment, got MRI then Biopsy in Feb.
Cancer is about the same as 2019 but closer to 4/3 [gleason 7] on right side, so a 3/4 compare to 4/3 still adds up to 7, but a 4/3 is worse.
So we have the talk on what to do, so he explains proctectomy or I could talk to a Doctor about radiation.
Talk to the doctor about radiation, kind of leaning towards radiation.
My wife said why don't you call Mayo, called Mayo they set me up to see a Doctor,
Went to Mayo, ended up talking to a doctor that does HIFU [high intensity focal ultrasound] where the blow your cancer cells up with sound waves.
So I had to get a MRI, Pet Scan, Biopsy, then HIFU over 6 week time frame. Hifu sedate you for three hours, then a catheter for a week ,no riding IH1086 for a couple weeks.
Worse part is healing up after a biopsy, and I did 2 in first half of 2024, if you go to a different Hospital area they are going to repeat all the test you already had.
So to answer your question, get the MRI before the biopsy, and there are a lot of options out there. | |
