Subject: RE: Ag Leader Strip-Till module pin-out

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Maybe - The initial problem that I see is that Ag Leader has the mind set that when more than one product is being applied that the sections are laid out so that one is in essence in front of the other. Not end to end.

We had some NH3 rigs that contained two complete but separate Raven Accu flow systems. The rig pulled two tanks. It would seem that we should have been able to use a Liquid Product Control module to work with the Left "half" and another Liquid Product Control module to work with the Right "half". We were not able to create a configuration that would accommodate such a layout. Not saying it couldn't be done but we were not successful.

Using a Raven 440 for the left and another Raven 440 for the right did work OK since GPS and mapping was not involved. A Raven Viper has the ability I believe to orient the sections "end to end".

If one tried to use all 3 channels of an an Ag Leader Strip-til module for a single product in three sections, the GPS offsets for the left and right sections might be able to be offset so that auto swath would work properly for shutting off the sections. There would likely be some other quirks as far as the width and rate involved. Best to leave it alone I'm thinking.
