coast of Maine | I am sort of not on board with the stair eliminations. My mom(88) has to climb stairs in her house a few times a day, keeping her exercising by must do.Her balance is good still. My FIL(88) is single story home.He is stiff as a stick and shuffles.BIL made a set of stair steps to go up and down for him to exercise. If he does this he can get in and out of autos fine,,the problem is he shuffles around the exercise stairs and avoids and wont use much. You stop doing certain motions/actions thats the decline you do not want,,just my thoughts,,quit riding a bike, quit stairs, quit sex ,,it all becomes impossible. | |
